ABA faucets notable attorneys to tackle AI threats, opportunities

Aug 28 (Reuters) – With artificial intelligence promising to reshape the practice of legislation in the coming decades, the major voluntary U.S. legal professional membership business is fielding a group of legal professionals to support information the transformation.

The American Bar Affiliation reported Monday that it is forming a new group to assess how AI will impression the follow of legislation and to probe ethical questions that the technology poses for the lawful career.

Legal professionals and regulation companies have been increasingly experimenting with AI instruments since ChatGPT and other new generative AI products and solutions emerged previous yr, but a lot of are also grappling with opportunity issues and ethical pitfalls.
